Funding Calderdale VCSE organisations helps to support people in the borough who may struggle with the cost of living.

This is the sixth round of funding where organisations could apply for grants for:

  • Energy and water.
  • Essentials linked to energy and water.
  • Wider essentials, such as broadband, phone bills, clothing, essential transport costs.
  • Advice services and help for people build resilience for the future.

The funding will help support initiatives that offer practical help or guidance. It also supports helping people with essentials such as food, transport costs and utilities.

There was an open grants round organised by the Community Foundation for Calderdale. This was funded by the Department of Work and Pensions.
