Notice of marriage or civil partnership
- A standard notice of marriage or civil partnership: £42 per person.
- Notice of marriage or civil partnership that requires a referral to Home Office Immigration: £57 per person.
To consider a divorce granted outside of the British Isles
- Paperwork that can be cleared by the local Register Office: £55 per person.
- Paperwork that has to be referred to the General Register Office: £83 per person.
Marriage or Civil Partnership
The fee depends on the date and venue:

Our ceremony fees include:
- The cost of one marriage or partnership certificate, where it applies.
- A non-refundable £50 booking fee for approved venues and Spring Hall Ceremony Room.
When to pay
For ceremonies at Calderdale Register Office the full fee must be paid when booking.
For ceremonies at approved venues or Spring Hall Ceremony Room:
- The booking fee must be paid upfront when booking.
- The full balance must be paid no later than one month before the date of the ceremony.
Certificates
- Issued at the time of registration: £12.50.
- Issued at a later date, within 5 working days of application: £12.50.
- Issued within 24 hours of application (next working day, Monday to Friday, for requests made by phone only): £38.50.

Searches in indexes
General search (search in the indexes by the applicant personally for not more than six successive hours): £20.
An appointment must be made to carry out a search. This is subject to staff being available.

To consider a correction or change to Birth and Death Registrations
- Corrections that can be authorised by the local Register Office: £83.
- Corrections that must be referred to the General Register Office: £99.
- Apply to change a child's forename(s) within 12 months of their date of birth: £44.
