You can book ceremonies for the Register Office and Spring Hall a minimum of three months in advance. We do not have any dates available before this.
The Register Office and Ceremony Room are on the ground floor.
Register Office
This is our smaller ceremony room.
- Available from Monday to Friday.
- Guest capacity*: 10.
There is no option to:
- make an entrance into this room;
- or to include readings in your ceremony.
Ceremony Room
This is our larger ceremony room.
- Available from Monday to Saturday.
- Guest capacity*: 48.

Note: We do not have outfit changing or refreshment facilities.
Capacity*
The maximum number of guests who can attend includes anyone you invite, such as:
- family and friends;
- children and babies;
- photographers;
- and witnesses.
It does not include:
- the couple;
- and Calderdale officials.
Note: We do not have space for guests to wait in the building. Extra guests will be asked to wait outside while the ceremony is in progress.
Room dressing
Ceremonies run back to back, so there is no time to decorate the room.
You can bring a table flower arrangement if you set it up and remove it yourself.
Parking
Parking is free on-site, but spaces may be limited.
Animals
Only guide dogs are allowed in the building. No pets.
Photography and streaming
Photos can be taken during the ceremony, as long as it does not cause disruption.
You can:
- Take photos with the schedule document, once it has been signed.
- Take group photos outside, after the ceremony.
- Stream the ceremony, using your own device.
If you do not want guests to take photos, you can say so in your ceremony plan.
Confetti
You can use biodegradable confetti, but it must be thrown outside and away from doors.
