Properties for disposal by auction
Nothing listed, check back soon.
Guide price and reserve price
All properties to be sold have been valued by the Auctioneer and Land and Property Services. This gives a reserve price to make sure that Council assets are not sold below their market value. The reserve (or minimum) price, is not published or released. In order to encourage interest in the properties the Auctioneer gives a guide price that is realistic and not misleading.
Buying property
There is helpful guidance in the Auctioneer's catalogue and on their website. It is a must that you read everything.
Inspect the property
All viewing is arranged through the Auctioneer. Please contact them directly.
Legal information
The Auctioneer will make a legal package of information, which can be found on their website. You can also get a hard copy, but there will be a charge. Details of the Council's solicitors will be given. Contact details can be found in the auction catalogue for any legal or planning queries.
Absentee bids
You do not need to attend the auction. It can be arranged for you to bid by phone or proxy (in writing). Talk to the auctioneer about this (before the auction) if you cannot attend.
