It funds veterans to take part in commemorative visits (within the UK and overseas). These visits mark events that led to the end of WWII.

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction
You can apply for Housing Benefit if you live in social housing or rent your home privately.
Anyone who is responsible to pay Council Tax can apply for Council Tax Reduction.
You could be entitled to both if you are in or out of work and on a low income. Your income and savings must be under set limits for you to qualify. How much you get will depend on your personal financial and household circumstances.

The Army Families Federation
Independent of the Army and offers confidential advice on a range of welfare issues including money matters and family life. AFF works at a local level directly with families and local command.
The Ministry of Defence: army dependants' trust
Details of cash grants for dependents of soldiers who die in service.
The Royal British Legion
A range of financial help services, that include benefits, money advice, grants and loans. If you have a compensation claim arising from your Service, the Legion can help you through the process. This is under the War Pensions Scheme or the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.
The Royal Navy: community support
Provides guidelines for serving personnel arranging a marriage or who are pregnant and information on making a will. They can also advise serving personnel about organisations to speak to for a range of financial and legal issues. This includes debts and free legal advice for serving people and their families.
Veterans UK
A full range of information for people injured, disabled or bereaved by the service. This includes details of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, War Disablement Pensions and Armed Forces Pensions.
