Calderdale Heritage Walks - Chaos in Shelf

On this walk we will take a stroll along part of the main road through Shelf. 

We will investigate a murder, a missionary, a suicide, an “offensive and noxious” trade and Methodists who just couldn’t get along.

• Meet Ben Stables at 1.30pm at the entrance to St. Michael and All Angels Church (opposite Lidl), Halifax Road, Shelf. HX3 7RJ.
• Dogs on leads are welcome.
• This walk is not suitable for mobility scooters.
