A 4 hour walk from Skircoat Green across Savile Park, visiting the homes of Halifax's own suffragettes.

Our route is along Queen's Road and down Pellon Lane to the Mechanics' Institute. This is where, in 1911, Emmeline Pankhurst urged women to boycott the census.

  • Please bring a packed lunch and drink.
  • We will return to Skircoat Green by bus at about 3.30pm.
