Council Tax exemption
As a foster carer for us you can get a full Council Tax exemption, if:
- You pay your Council Tax to Calderdale Council;
- and offer (or be forecast to offer) a child a place for 26 weeks in the year.

- Financial support with the chance to progress as you gain experience.
- Free membership to the Fostering Network, the UK's largest charity for foster carers. This includes access to independent legal advice.
