Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs)

The Council can use its statutory powers under the Housing Act 1985 to make CPOs.

An order has been made for 164 King Cross Road, Halifax.

A CPO has been made to allow this long-empty property to be brought back into use as residential accommodation.

The CPO was confirmed on 28th March 2022. A copy of the confirmed Order and a copy of the map and notice of confirmation are available below.
