- The Local Newspapers and Events Index (1830s to 1950s). This is partly an index to articles in local newspapers covering Calderdale. In part, it is also an index to the dates of certain events. Its origins lie in a set of notebooks compiled by employees of the Halifax Courier. It has been converted to this format by Calderdale Libraries' volunteers.
