All contract permits (except Green Contract Permit) can have up to two vehicles registered on them. However, as this is a virtual permit, only one vehicle can be active at any one time.
The permit holder is responsible for making sure the correct vehicle is selected (shown by a green tick). To do this, log into your account and:
- Select 'My Permits'.
- Then the 'Vehicle Icon button' on the permit type and switch vehicle.
- Select the vehicle you want to switch to from the dropdown and save.
- This change will be active straight away. (Note: Please see Green Contract Permits below.)
Green Contract Permits
For these you must:
- update your vehicle details via the online permit portal;
- and upload the supporting evidence of the new vehicle, such as the V5C document.
We must approve the change before it is valid, as this permit type only applies to:
- 100% electric vehicles that are registered in Calderdale;
- and to residents living in Calderdale.
Change requests may not be approved until the next working day, if it is:
- made after 12 noon on a Friday;
- or outside of office hours.
An email will be sent to the permit holder to confirm that it has been approved and is active.
