By bus

  • We are about a 20 minute walk from the station.

By car

  • From the town centre, at the roundabout, take Burnley Road (A646) towards Burnley.
  • We are about 1 mile from the roundabout.
  • Turn left on to Ewood Lane.
  • There are two car parks (upper and lower).
  • There is disabled parking at the front of the centre. (Follow the signs for car park 1.)

By train

  • The station is in the town centre.

Swimming pool

Our main swimming pool is great for fun and fitness alike. With both shallow and deep ends, this pool is widely accessible for all ages and capabilities.

We have a variety of activities and swimming lessons. 

Premier suite (sauna/steam room)

This is the ideal place to unwind and relax after a long day or intense workout.

  • This is an adult only zone.
  • Sessions are available in the mornings, mid-afternoon and weekday evenings.

Gym

This offers a bigger and better fitness experience, with state of the art gym equipment.

It has 40 stations that include:

  • Treadmills.
  • X trainers.
  • Bikes.
  • Rowing machines.
  • Steppers.
  • Cable machines.

Selected Technogym equipment have audio jacks that allow you to connect to the in gym entertainment system.

Please note: An induction is required for your own safety before using the gym for the first time.

Sports hall

Our sports hall has a number of courts available to hire for a variety of sports. These include, badminton, basketball, 5-a-side football and tennis.

The venue is also available to hire for non-sporting functions.

Outdoor pitch

Outside the centre, we have a state of the art Floodlit 3rd Generation pitch, suitable for 5/6 a-side matches. This pitch is available for hire.

We have 2 car parks accommodating over 100 vehicles including 6 spaces for blue badge holders.

We also have a undercover cycle rack in front of reception.

Accessibility

Todmorden Sports Centre is registered with Changing Places.

We have:

  • Entry to reception is via automatic doors.  
  • A low level counter and hearing loop are available in reception.
  • Accessible toilets and showers on the ground floor and first floor.
  • Poolside hoist and shallow entrance steps with hand rails for safe access into the pool.
  • Space for wheelchair users in the pool seating area.
  • A lift granting access to our accessible dance studio, fitness suite and changing areas on the first floor.
