THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE (WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (HEBDEN BRIDGE) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2008 (VARIATION NO. *) ORDER 20**
Following an inspection of a retaining wall on Lee Wood Road in Heptonstall it was deemed that waiting restrictions were required to prevent parking adjacent to it to avert compromising the stability of it and to protect the safety of the users of the road.
Initially, the waiting restrictions were provided under an Emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Order and then subsequently by way of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.
It is anticipated that remedial repairs to the wall will not be carried out in the foreseeable future, so it is proposed to make the restrictions permanent by means of a Traffic Regulation Order.
The Council considers it expedient to make the Order: -
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the roads or any other roads or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
