Do you know where your business or commercial waste ends up?
In Calderdale, businesses can only dispose of trade waste at:
- Halifax Transfer Station, Lee Bank, Ovenden Road, Halifax. HX3 5PN.
If you have a business, you need paper work to show:
- How much waste you create.
- Where it ends up.
- How often it is collected.
All businesses must have:
- Individual business or commercial waste contracts;
- or documents that detail their waste and recycling management.
Calderdale MBC does not collect trade waste from businesses. However, there are many providers around Calderdale who can pick up your waste. They can be found online.
For more on how to reduce your business waste, please see: Environment and sustainability.
