Before you begin, it would be helpful to have these details to hand:

• Your Council Tax reference number.
• Property address.
• The class of exception you wish to apply for.
• For class G and H exceptions:
  • The date the property was first advertised for sale/let.
  • Details of where the property is advertised.
  • Information and evidence to show the property is actively marketed for sale/let.
• For class I exceptions:
  • Date of probate.
  • Letters of administration to upload as evidence.
• For class M exceptions:
  • Details about the major repairs needed.
  • Evidence to show the extent of the repairs needed.
