An introduction to the road, which covers:
- bike maintenance;
- road position;
- and signalling.
It starts in the traffic free place and moves onto the roads. It aims to make you able to deal with traffic on short journeys, such as cycling to school.
- You will need to bring a packed lunch.
- Bikes and helmets available.
- If you have your own bike, please bring it.
The course
- Two days.
- National Standard Level 1 and level 2.
- Held at Calderdale schools during school holidays.
- Suitable for 9 to 14 year olds.
- Funded.
- Includes a badge and certificate on successful completion.
