If you change your vehicle or need a short-term temporary change:
- You must make sure your current vehicle is assigned to your permit.
- To do this, follow the steps in Switch vehicle and select 'add vehicle'.
Only when you have entered and saved the new vehicle details the 'switch vehicle' button will become available.
If you have two vehicles registered on your permit, one must be taken off before you add a new one. (To do this, select the red cross).
When entering a vehicle registration, please take care with letters and numbers. A common mistake is use the letter 'O' instead of the number '0'. If you do it wrong, the information will not appear on the handheld computer for the Civil Enforcement Officer.
