Offering advice, guidance, specialist assessment and support for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.

We offer a dedicated service for children and young people, early years settings, schools, academies, Post 16 provisions and families who are in need of support. This is for 0 to 19 year olds with:

  • Hearing, vision and multisensory impairments,
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and
  • a range of complex special educational needs and / or disabilities.

The staff of the specialist inclusion teams offer advice, guidance, specialist assessment and support. These enable children and young people with the above additional needs to achieve their full potential within schools and the community.

The service also offers a range of advice to support families to begin the journey of preparing for adulthood.
