Calderdale Council proposes to introduce three car club only parking spaces, one each on Princess Street and Old Market in Halifax and one on Coronation Street at Elland. The parking spaces will operate 24/7 and will be for the exclusive use of car club vehicles.
Car clubs provide opportunity for individuals and companies to reduce their dependence on the use of private cars through the provision of vehicles that cater for more occasional journey requirements.
The above proposals require changes to existing Traffic Regulation Orders.
