Pupils on roll in Year 6 are offered a place and do not need to apply.
Pupils with special educational needs will be admitted where this school is named on their Education Health and Care Plan.
If applications exceed the planned admission number (PAN), this criteria is used to decide which children are offered places:
2024
- Children looked after and children previously looked after. (For a definition, please see: Glossary - Looked after children.)
- Children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
- Pupils on roll at Warley Road Primary School.
- A child with a sibling on roll at the Academy at the time of application and admission and who lives at the same address. (For a definition of sibling, please see: Glossary - Siblings.
- Pupils living in The Halifax Catchment area.
- Pupils of staff employed at the Academy (having a permanent contract of at least two years at the time of application).
- Other Children.
If there is oversubscription in any category, children will be admitted in order of proximity to the school.
2025

- Children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
- Pupils on roll at Warley Road Academy.
- A child with a sibling on roll at the Academy at the time of application and admission and who lives at the same address. (For a definition of sibling, please see: Glossary - Siblings.
- Pupils living in the Halifax catchment area.
- Pupils of staff employed at the Academy (having a permanent contract of at least two years at the time of application).
- Other pupils in order of proximity to the school.
