How we use your information
Calderdale Council is registered with the information Commissioners Office (ICO) under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018. The Council takes its responsibilities under the Act very seriously.
The information provided by you is collected purely for the purposes of providing you with a Wainhouse Tower private hire agreement as requested. We need to collect this information in order to enter into a contract. You have the right to see what information is held about you, to have inaccurate information corrected and to have information removed from our system unless we are required by law or a statutory purpose to keep it. You can do this by writing to parks@calderdale.gov.uk.
You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Officer if you feel that your data has not been handled in accordance with the law. You can contact the Council’s Data Protection Officer at information.management@calderdale.gov.uk.
Your name and contact details are recorded on the written hire agreement, on any correspondence to you relating to the hire agreement and electronically on our system to maintain up to date records. This information will be kept for the duration of the hire agreement and then a subsequent 1 year after its end or the end of any ensuing correspondence relating to the agreement
