How we use your information
Calderdale Council of Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax, HX1 1UJ is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) under the provision of the Data Protection Act 2018. The Council takes its responsibilities under the Act very seriously.

The following information will be collected directly from you:

Why we collect and hold this information
Your personal information is collected for the purpose of including you on the Calderdale Social Value Suppliers’ Forum mailing list so we can inform you of information, news, and events as you have requested. We need to collect this information in order to contact you about social value.
The lawful basis for the processing of your information
Article 6(1)(a) – you have given your clear consent to the processing of your personal data for this purpose.
Sharing your personal data
Your personal information will not be shared with any third parties without your consent unless the law allows us to do so.
How long we will keep your information
Your name and contact details are recorded electronically on the Calderdale Social Value Suppliers’ Forum Database to maintain up to date records.
Your information will be retained for 3 years, and for as long as you continue to consent to remaining on the mailing list. We will contact you periodically to ask if you wish to continue receiving these emails and to verify your consent for us to retain your personal information for this purpose. If you unsubscribe, withdraw or do not verify your consent or request your information to be removed, your data will be deleted.
Your rights
