We need to collect this information in order to keep accurate records for the purposes of maintaining the statutory Planning Register. Sharing your information with us constitutes explicit consent from you for us to process your data for this purpose. Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Your name and contact details are recorded electronically on our system or in paper format to maintain up to date records.
This information will be kept indefinitely, in line with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, unless:
- you are not the appellant and you have made a general enquiry about appeals, in which case this information will be held for a maximum of 1 year after receipt
- or, in both cases, until such time as the data is reviewed by us or removed at your request.
