Our Infection Prevention and Control Team works with the:
- UK Health Security Agency;
- Environmental Health Department;
- local health and social care services.
Together we work to have a positive impact on the incidence of infection in Calderdale, which includes:
- Monitor incidence of infection.
- Respond to incidents and outbreaks.
- Advise on issues that relate to the prevention and control of infection.
The UK Health Security Agency have made documents that schools could find useful to refer to, which include:
- exclusion requirements for specific infections;
- management of infection within the school;
- and the safety of staff exposed to infection.
