We offer a dedicated service for:
- children and young people;
- early years settings;
- schools/academies;
- post-16 provisions;
- and families who are in need of support.
This is for 0 to 19 year olds with:
- hearing, vision and multi-sensory impairments;
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders;
- and a range of complex special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Our staff offer advice, guidance, specialist assessment and support. This helps children/young people with these additional needs to achieve their full potential within schools and the community.
The service also offers a range of advice to support families to begin the journey of preparing for adulthood.

- and National Portage Association standards.
Our team are SEND specialist staff. They have the qualifications and training for their specific areas of expertise. This includes mandatory qualifications for sensory teachers.

Cost
No charge: This service is funded from the Dedicated Schools Grant.
Chargeable services: These include bespoke training packages and advice, specialist transcription / interpreting services and British Sign Language training. Please contact us for details.
