Calderdale Heritage Walks - Anne Lister: Parkland and Mytholme Walk

We will be walking in the footsteps of Anne Lister, to relate to the places mentioned in her diary. 

Find out how the landscape connected events that happened in her lifetime, and how the landscape has since changed.

We will be exploring the old routes and lost settlements, including stories of her pistol shooting exploits at the hall.

Finally, we will visit Mytholme and the Stag Inn, and return via Lower Brear and the Mere.

• Meet Mike Beecham at 2pm in the Shibden Park middle overflow car park.
• Walking boots are advised.
• Dogs are welcome.
• Not suitable for mobility scooters.
• The route is mainly on rough surface pathways.
