Calderdale Heritage Walks - Exploring Hove Edge

Hove Edge is now a suburb of Brighouse, but was once an isolated hamlet. 

The special features of this walk include: 

• A former private railway system.
• Stone mines and quarries.
• World War 2 sites.
• A house from the 1500s.
• A General, buried in Westminster Abbey.

Meet Ian Philp at 2pm by the Dusty Miller Pub on the A644, Hove Edge, HD6 2PB.

• This walk is unsuitable for mobility scooters.
• Dogs on leads are welcome.
