Calderdale Heritage Walks - Midgley Moor

This is a three hour walk.

More than a moor, this extended walk takes in archaeology, folklore, customs, economics, geography and climate. 

Meet John Billingsley at 2pm at the crossroads by the Hare & Hounds Inn, Old Town, HX7 8TN.

• Paths are on rough moorland terrain (for approximately three miles),
• Good walking ability is essential,
• Weatherproof shoes and clothing required and snacks recommended for comfort,
• Bring a small coin or two...
• Quiet dogs, strictly on lead, are welcome,
• The walk is not suitable for mobility scooters.
