Calderdale Heritage Walks - Old Town, Above and Beyond

The hilltop settlements of the upper Calder Valley, historically and economically, often looked to each other rather than to the valley settlements.

We will look at the history of Old Town, and the history of the surrounding landscape.

• The walk includes some slopes and uneven terrain.
• Wrap up warm and dry!
• Unsuitable for wheelchair users.
• Meet outside Old Town School, HX7 8RY.
