Old Photos of the Trams of Halifax and District

David Glover presents a selection of photos of old Halifax trams, from their origins in 1897 through to their demise in 1939. 

• The photos will illustrate how tram shape and size varied.
• David will also talk about some of the serious accidents, including the one at Bolton Brow, in 1907.
• View pictures taken inside the tram-sheds, and see how vehicles were decked out for special occasions.
