Accredited learning

GCSE For learners working at or above Level 2, who want to work towards a recognised GCSE qualification. These will support access to Higher Education courses.

Classes for Adults with Learning Disabilities These courses are specifically designed for adults with learning difficulties. They aim of build confidence and develop skills for independent living.

The courses are suitable for learners who may need extra support.

First Steps (Beginners), Next Steps (Improvers), Step Up (Advanced) Courses suitable for Beginners, where no previous knowledge of the subject is required.
Improver These courses are for learners who:

  • are already confident with the basics of the subject area;
  • but feel that they need to build on their existing skills and knowledge.
Advanced These courses are for learners who:

  • are confident in their skills or knowledge of the subject area;
  • but wish to progress further.

We encourage you to progress through our programmes. All learners who wish to enrol on an accredited course will need to contact us, to arrange an assessment. This is so that we can establish your starting point prior to starting the course.
