We aim to make sure Calderdale's children and young people benefit from high standards of education, through our statutory duties.
All schools are supported, challenged and monitored through the Calderdale Self Improving School System. This is detailed in the Calderdale Partnership Framework.
What we can do for you
As well as fulfilling the statutory duties, our officers can support you in these areas:
- Headteacher performance management.
- Review/investigate issues, as commissioned by governing bodies, head teachers and the Director of Children and Young People's Services.
- Provide governor support and training.
- Support for governors in head teacher recruitment, in partnership with Calderdale Human Resources.
- Provision of annual primary assessment results through Perspective Lite.
- Consultancy on all elements of primary assessment.
