You will have access to webinars and workshops on a range of key growth topics and skills, such as:

  • marketing;

  • and the chance to network with peer to peer sessions/inspirational events.

AD:VENTURE Growth Grant

This is for £1,500 to £10,000 to support with capital expenditure for growth projects. The grants are match funded. (Businesses must match the contribution and have funds in place to claim it back later.)

Business Enterprise Fund Start Up Loans

Our partner is The Business Enterprise Fund. They offer loans for start-up and growth needs at a rate of 6%.

For young entrepreneurs

We work with The Prince's Trust, who deliver exploring enterprise courses. These are to help people aged 18 to 30 to decide if starting a business is right for them. They also give them the skills and support to start a business.

Who this is available for

  • Those that are trading and have been for less than 3 years. We will consider active trading rather than the technical trading start date. (Beginning of invoicing/charging for good and services.)
  • Aims to achieve a VAT threshold (currently £85,000 per annum) level of turnover within 2 years.
  • Ambitions to recruit and build the team within 12 months.
  • Be based in West Yorkshire (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Leeds).
  • SMEs who:
    • Sell to other businesses (B2B);
    • or sell to consumers (B2C). Note: Only if more than 50% of turnover comes from customers outside of West Yorkshire.
