We monitor air pollution across the Borough. The most concern to us is nitrogen dioxide, which is mainly linked to road traffic.
The reports below discuss and assess the pollutants. Assessments (to update and screen) consider the situation across Calderdale and show where more investigation may be needed.
Detailed Assessments refer to specific investigations, such as:
- areas identified in updating and screening assessments;
- and Progress Reports provide annual reviews of the Council's monitoring results.
