Referendum

After the independent examination, Cabinet determined that the Todmorden Neighbourhood Plan should go to a referendum. This took place on 6th March 2025.

The referendum question was:

  • The results was 1,288 voted 'Yes' (79%) and 342 voted 'No' (21%).

As more than 50% of those that voted said ‘yes’:
