JIF Training
They provide pre-employment training to candidates and offer a range of courses designed to enhance skills and knowledge in various sectors. These include:
- security services;
- food manufacturing;
- hospitality and catering;
- retail;
- and customer service.
Their experienced staff are passionate about helping you succeed and will work with you every step of the way. Mental health, equality and diversity are embedded throughout all programmes. Through the CAL Fund, they deliver:
- Functional Skills Maths and English;
- Certificate in Occupational Studies;
- and Award in Managing Your Money.

Proper Job Theatre Co - The LAB Project
The LAB Project works with unemployed adults to break down barriers and help develop confidence.
Team working, confidence building and communication skills help to develop self-esteem. You will take part in drama, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Courses on offer are below.
LAB Employability
A two-week course to develop skills and build confidence in a fun and creative environment. The LAB course will help you to move forward and achieve your next step. Whether that be further training, volunteering, employment or anything else you decide. Gain a qualification!
LAB Wellbeing
A different way to tackle mild to moderate mental health issues. Working with like-minded people we can offer you a number of strategies to help your personal development and move towards a positive future.
All courses are delivered in the centre of Halifax. Travel allowance and a £50 training allowance available (does not affect benefits).
