It is important that the driver and permit holder comply with the terms and conditions (T&Cs) of use. This is to make sure that a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is not issued.
Terms and conditions for resident permits
Parking Services will not cancel any PCNs where the T&Cs (below) are not adhered to.
- There is currently a £35 admin fee to be paid for each permit. This must be received before the permit is processed and becomes valid. This payment is not refundable.
- Permits must only be used by vehicles registered to the eligible property. Please note: The registered keeper must also be a resident at the property.
- Permits can only be used in the zone shown on the sign in the area. If there are no spaces in the zone, other parking must be found.
- The permit does not guarantee a parking space, nor does it reserve a parking space solely for your use.
- Permits cannot be used to park in any other areas, such as car parks at any time for any reason.
- Permits are not valid when being used by vehicles advertised for sale on the highway.
- If you change your vehicle, you must update your Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) via the online permit portal anytime. This can be done in 'My Account'.
- If a permit(s) is no longer needed or you move property, please ask us to cancel it. You can do this via the online permit portal at any time. This can be done in 'My Account'.
