We want everyone who lives and works in Calderdale to live a happier, healthier and more sustainable life.
By taking action on climate change locally, we can focus on the things that will have the biggest impact. We can also make sure that we leave no one behind. Our path to Net Zero must be a fair one that works for all of us.
Our Climate Action Plan builds on Calderdale’s Emissions Reduction Pathway.
It sets out how we can all work together to create a Net Zero Calderdale by focusing on six themes:
- Influencing.
- Community climate action.
- Warm and resilient buildings.
- Green economy.
- Transport and getting around.
- Land and nature.
