Changes
Admission Arrangements 2027
It is proposed that the admission number at Triangle CE (VC) Primary School is reduced from 30 to 20. There are no further changes, however, additional information has been provided regarding deferred entry, the admission of children outside their normal age group, late applications, in-year applications and appeals.
Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme 2027
The scheme remains unchanged; however, details concerning deferred entry and proof of address have been removed from this document and incorporated into the admission arrangements.
Primary school (starting reception class)
Your child will be eligible for a place from September 2026, if they were born between:
- 1st September 2021;
- and 31st August 2022.
Note: You can apply for a school place from 18th November 2025 until the close date of 15th January 2026.

If you apply online
You will receive an email to tell you which school your child has been offered. (Unless you opted out of this service.)
If you apply late
You will be sent a letter to tell you which school has been offered.

Junior school (starting year 3)
Your child is eligible for a place in September 2026, if:
- they are currently in Year 2;
- and are at one of these schools:
- Central Street Infant School.
- St. Andrew's CE (VA) Infant School.
- Stubbings Infant School.
- Tuel Lane Infant School.

Secondary school (starting year 7)
Your child will be eligible for a place at secondary school from September 2026, if they were born between:
- 1st September 2014;
- and 31st August 2015.

Apply for a school place during the school year
You will need to do this if you:
- have moved house and would like to apply to change school during the school year.
- would like to apply for your child to go to a different school. (At any time, other than a transfer from nursery to primary or primary to secondary).

Appeals
If your child is not offered a place at your preferred school you have the right to appeal. This will be to an independent appeals panel.
