Register to use online booking
Non-members
New users can sign up online for a membership or a free pay as you go plan. Please see memberships for details.
- Select sign up.
- Choose your preferred site. (This will be your home site in the system, you can still access others.)
- Choose a plan.
- Complete your details.
Existing members
If you joined in person at one of our sites and provided an email address, you should have an account. Please set up your password.
If you did not provide an email address or it has changed, email: sportonline@calderdale.gov.uk. Please give your:
- Full name.
- Email address.
- Postcode.
If you joined online and did not setup a password at the time, please set up your password.
Note: Discounts, such as Passport to Leisure, will not be applied until we have seen proof. Please show your member ID and PTL card to a member of staff who can verify and update your account.
How to book
The easiest way to book is online in the members area. You can also phone or visit one of our fitness centres.
- Bookings can be made up to 8 days in advance.
- Block bookings are not possible.
- A small number of activities cannot be booked in advance, such as specialist courses.
Step by step guide to book online
- Sign in to the members area.
- Select a site.
- Select an activity and time slot.
- Confirm your booking and pay. (Please note: Bookings will not be held until they are paid for.)
We will send you an email to confirm the booking has been made.
Payments
We do not take cash payments.
You can pay by card or contactless at our centres. You can also pay by card when you book online.
Change a booking
You can do this online, by phone or in person at the site the booking is at.
Please note: Changes to bookings are subject to terms and conditions. If the option you want is not available, contact the facility for help.
Online
- Sign in.
- Select manage bookings.
- Choose a booking from the list to amend.
Cancel a booking
If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking as early as possible, so others can join.
You can do this online, by phone or in person at the site the booking was to take place at.
Note: You will not be refunded when you cancel, unless you visit your local centre and meet the refund criteria.

Contact the site where the booking is to take place.
You can also email your query to: sportonline@calderdale.gov.uk.
Account problems
Locked account
After 3 incorrect login attempts, your account will be locked for security.
Please email sportonline@calderdale.gov.uk and provide:
- Your account email
- Member ID
- Full name
- Postcode
We can then unlock your account and send you a link to reset your password.
Forgotten password
You can reset your password online.
