Help with social care costs

Here we tell you about the two types of financial eligibility and charges from April 2020.

Some people are can get support with the costs of their social care. The rules about this differs between:

• Community Care costs. All other social care, which includes: personal care at home, domestic help, meals at home and transport.
• Residential and nursing care home costs.
