Review of Parking Charges – Phase 2 – Proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Formal Consultation

Proposals include shared resident / pay and display parking, loading provision, disabled parking provision and no waiting restrictions.

Update - 11th March 2025

The order has now been made. Details can be found in the supporting documents.

The Review of Parking Charges report contained several proposals to review the parking charges across the Borough, and was considered and approved at Cabinet on 7th August 2023.

The first phase of delivering the report was implemented in Autumn 2023 and focussed on amending the parking tariffs in various on and off street locations throughout the Borough.

In Summer 2024 the second phase introduced new pay and display restrictions in various off-street locations and amended the existing restrictions in others. This final phase looks to make changes to some on street locations in some of the streets in Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

Proposals include shared resident / pay and display parking, loading provision, disabled parking provision and no waiting restrictions.
